Intended use. The app is a service utility for qualified technicians flashing and inspecting Hamilton pipette-channel firmware on equipment they own or are authorized to service, using the NGC-Bridge hardware. FluidBoy Tools is not a medical device and is not intended for use in diagnostic or clinical decision-making.
Firmware flashing is inherently risky. Interrupting a bootloader update, losing power or Bluetooth connectivity mid-flash, or loading an incorrect or corrupted firmware image can leave a pipette channel inoperable. You are responsible for verifying firmware files, keeping the bridge and channel powered, and staying in Bluetooth range for the duration of an update.
No warranty. The app is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for any damages arising from use of the app, including damaged or inoperable instruments, lost data, or lost profits.
Trademarks. Hamilton is a trademark of its respective owner. FluidBoy Tools is an independent tool and is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by Hamilton.
